Easter Weekend Emergency Care

The high winds on Thursday caused a number of power cuts at the Practice which somehow has thrown out the phone system which BT have been unable to fix. So at present, only the lunchtime answer machine message is playing, which doesn’t outline our emergency procedure over the Bank Holiday weekend. We apologise for this situation.

Emergency care – We will be re-opening at 9am on Tuesday morning. If you are in pain or have a dental emergency which cannot wait until we re-open, please call 07526 478062. Our on-call clinician is only available to offer emergency appointment times before midday. If you call after this time, you will receive telephone advice only and, if appropriate, you may be offered a face-to-face appointment for the following day. Please note there may be a call-out charge.

Emergency Care after Easter Bank Holiday weekend

If you have a dental emergency during surgery hours, please ring the practice on 01725 510303.

If you have a dental emergency out of hours, please ring the surgery as above. An answer machine message will give you Jenny, Richard, Charlie or Hannah’s mobile number or, very occasionally, the message will guide you to a local on-call dentist.

If we cannot help you over the telephone, Jenny, Richard, Charlie, Hannah or the on-call dentist will endeavour to see you on the same day. If an out-of-hours appointment is needed then a call-out charge of £210 will apply. If you are on The Borough Plan, this charge will be payable by you, however, you may be able to claim this back through the dental plan insurance, minus the £10 excess.
