We love treating children! We are excited about teaching children great oral health habits – how to look after their teeth and enjoy a healthy diet.

MolarsNearly a quarter of all our patients are children, which is highly unusual for a private practice. We heavily subsidise children’s care, and provide free check-ups for all children* of primary and pre-school age as a commitment to our community.

In addition, every primary school-aged patient at the practice receives an innovative oral health CD-ROM called Bright Bites free of charge. Developed when Luke and Jenny ran the oral health charity Dentaid, Bright Bites is an interactive computer game that uses videos, puzzles, and games to learn about diet, teeth and oral hygiene, animal’s teeth and how children in the Developing World take care of their teeth!

Younger children receive practice balloons and stickers, and everything about the way we look after children is geared towards giving them a happy and positive experience of visiting the dentist, which will hopefully set them in good stead for a life-time of excellent oral health.
